Over the past several years, many of us have quietly left churches and communities that no longer felt like home. We watched leaders we trusted lose their way, and the spaces that once brought us together started to feel more divisive than unifying.
Salt & Light Social exists because we believe community shouldn't be this hard to find. We're not a church, not a ministry, not a political group. We're just people who love God, love humanity, and want somewhere safe to laugh, create, and belong again.

You just have to be a good person with a kind heart. Our community is rooted in Christian values of love and compassion, but we welcome anyone who vibes with that energy and wants genuine human connection.
It means this is a space free from the political culture that has divided so many faith communities. We're not a political group and we don't talk divisive politics at our events. We just want people who believe in loving their neighbor, period. If that's you, you belong here.
We're starting in central Orange County and will organize meetups across different cities depending on where our members are. When you sign up, tell us your area and we'll connect you with nearby groups.
Nothing. This is a free community. Some activities might have their own costs (like movie tickets or supplies for a craft night), but there's no membership fee or dues. Ever.
